 Shortlisted Candidates for Interview

 

Applications for the Ph.D. programme in Chemistry (2 Seats) are invited from all the interested candidates who have qualified PET (conducted by University of  Mumbai) and those who are exempted from PET as per the University of Mumbai Circular No. Exam/Thesis/Univ/VCD/947 of 2018 dated 15 December 2018.

 

Eligibility:

Post-Graduation in Chemistry from a UGC – recognized University with 55% marks or above or its equivalent.

Passed UGC-CSIR/JRF/NET/SLET/MPhil/PET (conducted by the University of Mumbai. Please refer to VCD No. https://udcs.mu.ac.in/file/pet/vcd_947_2018.pdf dated 15 December 2018 for more details.

 

Starting date for receiving applications: 26 June 2021

 

Candidates are requested to apply as per the following guidelines:

The duly filled Application Form with the following necessary documents/certificates (Self-attested) should be sent via ‘Registered Post / Speed Post / Courier’ and clearly marked “Ph.D. Application Form for  Chemistry” on top, at the address:

List of necessary documents (Self-attested copies with self-declaration) for submission along with the Ph.D. Application Form: 

  1. Curriculum Vitae

  2. M.Sc. Part - I & II Marksheets and Degree Certificate, T.Y.B.Sc. Marksheets and Degree Certificate

  3. PET Marksheet /NET/SET/M.Phil Certificate

  4. Caste certificate, if any. 

  5. NOC letter from the employer, if employed presently.

  6. Approval letter, Teaching experience letter and NOC for teaching faculty members for college

  7. Aadhar Card

  8. A Cheque (subject to realization) / Demand Draft for an amount of Rs. 200/- (Application Fee) drawn in favour of “THE BOMBAY ST XAVIERS COLLEGE SOCIETY”

In case of a cheque, mention ‘Name, Mobile No. & for Ph.D.in Chemistry’ at the backside.

Display (on the college website) of short-listed candidates: 16 July 2021

Interview of Short-listed candidates: Information shall be put up on the College website.

Please note that no separate communication will be sent for interviews. 

Application Fee – A Cheque (subject to realization) /Demand draft of Rs. 200/- in favour of “THE BOMBAY ST XAVIERS COLLEGE SOCIETY” should be submitted along with the application form. 

In case of incomplete/incorrect information, the application will be liable for rejection.
