As the world embraces a data-driven economy, the department of Biotechnology has adapted by launching a new undergraduate program in biotechnology and computational biology from June 2025. Embedding the growing role of computational methods in biotechnology, this innovative 4-year BSc program aims to equip students with a unique blend of skills in biological sciences, data analytics, bioinformatics, and computational tools. The programme is offered along with unique minors in IT, Management studies and Mass communication. Graduates will be prepared for research and industry roles where data-driven decision-making is crucial, positioning them to become key contributors to the future of Biotechnology.

ii) A Document Verification Fees of Rs.1250/- is applicable to students from other than Maharashtra Board.
iii) The fee for the First Year of the Batch 2025–2028 shall be as specified above.
-The fee amount for the Second and Third Years of the Batch 2025–2028 shall remain the same as that paid in the First Year, corresponding to each student’s chosen subject combination.
– The fee structure for the Fourth Year of the Batch 2025–2028 will be determined and communicated at a later stage.
